Observers (like parents, mentors, tutors, etc.) are given read-only access to an observed student's account, including:
- Courses, course information, Announcements, Calendars, and Agendas
- Student To-do lists and Activity streams
- Activities (excluding Assessments) and due dates
- Student submissions
- Grades, teacher feedback, and other performance indicators
To add an Observed Enrollment for an Observer:
- Open the Users tool from the Main Menu.
- Select the user's User ID.

- Select Observed Enrollments.
- Select the Add [plus sign] button in the toolbar.

- Provide the Enrollment ID that you want the user to observe.
- Select Save.

Tips
- To disable an observed enrollment, check its box and select Remove. Check multiple boxes to remove more than one at a time.
- To import observed enrollments using a tab-delimited or comma-separated file, select Import , then browse to the file on your computer.
- Where available, you can select the list (browse) icon to search for and select the items available for you.
