Most Pearson Connexus courses are web-based and require no additional software to function. However, there are several elective courses that require students to create free accounts and use web-based tools to deepen their experience with specialized applications.
Specifically, Canva for Education is a tool included in Educational Technology K–5 courses. Although students can use any web-based drawing applications, we recommend schools enable Canva accounts for its accessibility and broad capabilities. Students can quickly create an account but this does not guarantee that they will have the education-specific safeguards. The best way to ensure students have the right version of Canva is to set up a 100% free, district Canva account for Education. You can learn more about Canva for Districts at this page. Any questions about your status as a Canva district or about the product can also be directed to edu-experts@canva.com
Additionally, there are a number of specialized courses that are available from eDynamic Learning that may require students to download software or create accounts.
