Teachers access Takeoff by IXL through the Pearson Connexus course at the section/student level. They navigate to a Takeoff course, select a lesson with an IXL link, then open IXL and choose Takeoff from the toolbar. Teachers can view the student roster and access additional resources, including welcome letters, guides, and glossaries. Units provide supporting materials, and lessons include instructional slides to aid teaching.
Takeoff by IXL must be accessed through the Pearson Connexus course. Teachers can access Takeoff by IXL at a section or student level.
- Navigate to a Takeoff by IXL course in Pearson Connexus.
- Select a lesson that contains a link to IXL. Selecting the activity link will open the IXL platform.
- Select Membership at the bottom of the page to open the IXL home page.
- Select Takeoff from the toolbar at the top of the page.
- You are now in Takeoff.
- Select Roster in the top right.
- All students rostered into the course are listed here.
