Pearson does not recommend deleting district master courses; however, Administrators can retire a district master course instead.
The courses that any schools or programs in the district have pulled down are linked to the corresponding district master courses. If a district master course is deleted, the chain is broken, and updates from Pearson will not flow to the schools or programs.
To retire a district master course:
Change the End date of the course to a date in the past. Doing this will prevent schools or programs from seeing that course in their catalog.
If the district master course is a Continuous course, change the course type to Traditional, and change the End date to a date in the past.
