Virtual Teachers engage the online learner by leading real-time instruction via LiveLesson® sessions - an online teaching tool and meeting area. Using a variety of interactive tools, LiveLesson sessions allow teachers to enhance instruction and communicate with students through the personal interactions of a traditional classroom in an online setting. When hosting a LiveLesson session, you can talk with your students, ask them questions, write on a whiteboard, create poll questions, share presentations, and much more. All users have accounts in the LiveLesson system, but sign-on is transparent when accessed from the LiveLesson portal.
Administration
A LiveLesson Administrator creates the Teacher (presenter) accounts in the LiveLesson system. The System will automatically create student LiveLesson accounts on demand.
Entering a LiveLesson Room
Teachers and students can enter a room by navigating to the LiveLesson tool on the Main Menu.
Select a meeting room link to open the LiveLesson room in a new tab. Teachers may create additional rooms in LiveLesson that will appear on the room lists.
Teachers
Teachers will see a list of all their rooms and can choose one to enter.
Teacher LiveLesson Configuration
Teachers will need to use the LiveLesson home page when configuring their rooms and content. They can access the home page by selecting the gear icon next to My Rooms.
Teacher LiveLesson Credentials for Adobe Presenter
Teachers who use Adobe Presenter will need to access their LiveLesson account usernames and passwords. Adobe Presenter prompts for these credentials when the teacher publishes a presentation to LiveLesson. Teachers can look up their credentials on the LiveLesson portal page.
Note:
-
This password could occasionally change, but it usually stays the same.
-
Teachers can (but should not) change their password in the LiveLesson system, but the system will revert it back.
