LiveLesson sessions allow students to attend virtual classroom sessions with their teachers. Within LiveLesson sessions, teachers use a variety of interactive tools to enhance instruction and communicate with students. Some of the tools include a whiteboard, polls, and sharing presentations.
How to Open a LiveLesson (Mac and Windows Users)
If you are using a Chromebook, a different set of instructions is below.
- Log in to your LiveLesson room from your Homepage. A popup window displays.
- Select Open in Application.
TIP: If you select Remember my choice in this browser, LiveLesson will automatically open in the application for future sessions.
- From the Open Adobe Connect popup window, select Open Adobe Connect to enter your LiveLesson room.
TIP: You can select Always allow livelesson.com to open links of the type in the associated app to bypass this popup window and allow LiveLesson to automatically open in the app for future sessions.
- Wait for your teacher to grant entry into the session.
New in 2021
In 2021 the room appearance will change from Classic View to Standard View (see Standard View example below).
Opening LiveLesson Sessions (Chromebook Users)
- Log in to your LiveLesson room from your Homepage. A popup window displays.
- Select Open in browser.
TIP: If you select Remember my choice in this browser, LiveLesson will automatically open in the application for future sessions.
- Wait for your teacher to grant entry into the session. Chromebook users will have the Standard View, which is slightly different from the Classic View that displays for Mac and Windows users. Note that all users will be moved to the Standard View in 2021.
