LiveLesson sessions allow students to attend virtual classroom sessions with their teachers. Within LiveLesson sessions, teachers use a variety of interactive tools to enhance instruction and communicate with students. Some of the tools include a whiteboard, polls, and sharing presentations.
All users have accounts in the LiveLesson system, but sign-on is transparent when accessed from the LiveLesson portal. The system will automatically create student LiveLesson accounts on demand.
New HTML Browser for LiveLesson
Students can now open LiveLessons with an HTML browser, which enhances the user experience and doesn’t require enabling Flash. When accessing a LiveLesson, the following popup window displays:
Select Open in browser and make sure to check Remember my choice in this browser so the next time you open a LiveLesson, your computer browser remembers and automatically opens your LiveLesson in an HTML window.
Entering a LiveLesson Room
Teachers and students can enter a room by navigating to the LiveLesson portal shortcut on the left menu. Select Enter Room to open the LiveLesson room in a new tab.
Students are presented with a list of rooms for each of their teachers. To join the session, the student will need to confirm with the teacher which room to enter.
