The Pearson Connexus® catalog contains more than 700 courses. Most courses run on Chromebooks without issues. Some courses, however, contain elements that are not Chromebook-compatible because Chromebooks do not allow plugins or local storage.
The Pearson Connexus platform is compatible with the Chrome operating system on Chromebooks.
Pearson Connexus is a web-based application designed to work in all modern browsers, including Google Chrome.
Pearson Connexus supports integration with Google Drive. Teachers and students can use their own Google Drive accounts to submit and view documents within the platform.
Most Pearson Connexus courses work on Chromebooks, with some exceptions. These exceptions are most often due to compatible instructional components that do not typically interfere with instruction. The following is a list of courses incompatible with Chromebooks, as well as courses with essential elements incompatible with Chromebooks. Note: These lists are subject to change.
These courses cannot be used with Chromebooks. They each have essential installs or plugins fundamental to the content of the course.

Courses with Flash-Based Audio/Visual Assets
The following courses contain Flash-based components that are incompatible with Chromebooks. While much of the course is still accessible without Flash, students will not be able to access many of the audio files in the course.

Courses with Non-Essential Chromebook-Incompatible Instructional Components
Some Pearson Connexus courses are compatible with Chromebooks, but have non-essential installs or plugins that may be incompatible with Chromebooks. There are simple ways to work around the installs or plugins without diminishing the student experience. Contact the Student Technical Support Desk at 844-597-3224 for advice on how to work around the problematic course elements.
Courses with Flash Content
Pearson Connexus courses containing Flash content should work with Chromebook’s integrated Flash player (https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/enabling-flash-player-chrome.html).
Note: Some Flash audio will not play in lessons.
Using LiveLesson® Sessions with Chromebooks
LiveLesson sessions can be accessed with Chromebooks. Please keep in these steps will probably need to be followed each time LiveLesson sessions are accessed.
Select the LiveLesson tool.
Select Download Flash Player.
Select Allow to run Flash.
Select Enter. The LiveLesson URL displays.
